Join Seanie and Shell for an immersive weekend in nature to
deepen your practice and connection to your inner world.
Back by popular demand this will be our 4th annual Summer retreat!
Staying in gorgeous yurts hidden in the Wye Valley, our site offers tranquility and fresh air that gives space to process and unwind. Our intention is that you step out of the yurt and into nature from the moment you wake up. Nature has a power to hold us so deeply, adding richness to the weekend.
Submerged in nature...
Kutumba means family, and we are all about community and coming together to celebrate, nourish and rest, tapping in to what you need from your time on retreat.
Over 4 days, we offer a journey into the subtle body with a well-rounded exploration of movement and yogic practices, holding a compassionate environment to simply come and be as you are.
‘Through yoga, movement, art, food, music - whatever lights you up, we believe the more you feed your soul, the more you find your soul tribe.’
Our workshops aim to connect you deeper to your spirit and inner world. To help strengthen the connection to your wisdom body, learning to listen, trust your intuition, what inspires you and lights your inner fire.
Our food is made with love. Every meal is carefully considered to nourish, nurture and inspire, complimenting the days activities. Warming your heart and belly with a vibrant, delicious and seasonal Summer menu and making the most of what the Summer season has to offer. Expect colour, texture and flavour that you won’t forget. Feel comforted by our delicious menu whilst dazzled with a sense of adventure!
All food is vegan friendly and dietary requirements catered for
- Massage treatments with our onsite therapists Anz + Claire
The yoga and workshops will be practiced in a beautiful yurt with an altar that you are welcome to add your personal items to.
Kutumba opens space for connection and conversation. Through gathering, celebration and ceremony we remember how our ancestors taught us to thrive as a community.

Here's what our guests have to say...
“Kutumba Retreat was one of the most profound and transformative
experiences of my life.
The sense of community I felt was amazing and the connections I made really helped me to open up and work through some of my issues. Such a warm, loving space where we laughed as much as we cried. Just wonderful.”
“I attended my third Kutumba Retreat in 2023. The new location was perfect, nestled in the valley and surrounded by nature, birdsong, cows mooing and running water.... what more could you ask for.
The Asana practice and the workshops were excellent. Seanie and Shell clearly put a lot of thought into creating a safe and nurturing space which allowed us all to unravel, relax and reset.
Kutumba retreats have everything you need, from nourishing food and spiritual practices, to fun, play and a genuine sense of community. Safe to say I will be attending in 2024 as well.... can't wait..”
“Loved the vibe of Kutumba - very friendly - lots of permission to do what you needed to wether that was lying on your mat or going for a walk in the woods - as well as options to push yourself out of your comfort zone if you wanted.
I loved what each of teachers brought and the really high standard of teaching. Also loved the range of workshops from Contact Dance and Acro Yoga to sound bath. The site was beautiful - everything you could possibly want in a glamping setting - even a hot bath!!.”
